Founding partner of Dolan Law Group, Courtney L. Dolan is licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada. With over a decade of experience, Courtney is able to represent clients in all courts in this state. Courtney is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. Courtney is also a member of the Professional Academy of Health Care Managers.
Courtney is a graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Courtney has continuously worked in the Las Vegas, Nevada legal profession since 2001. Courtney is an Honor's Program graduate of Clayton State University, earning a Bachelor Science Degree in Health Care Management in 1998.
During undergraduate studies, Courtney received multiple academic scholarships, including being a member of the Honor's Program, Foundation Scholarship, and a Hope Grant recipient. Courtney also earned the coveted college internship with Emory School of Medicine. Along with earning Dean's List two out of the three years of the undergraduate career, Courtney also had the honor of participating in Harvard Model United Nations.
Courtney served as a judicial law clerk for almost two (2) years for the Honorable John S. McGroarty, Department XVI, of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. When the Honorable Michelle Leavitt was first appointed to the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada bench, Courtney served as one of her first judicial interns.
Prior to opening Dolan Law Group in 2009, Courtney worked for several well-respected law firms in Las Vegas, practicing in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, insurance coverage, criminal law, construction defect, family law, and probate. Dolan Law Group is successfully representing clients in the areas of personal injury, family law, criminal law, civil litigation, and estate planning.
Courtney is a long time resident of Las Vegas, and is an avid fan of UNLV Rebel Basketball. Courtney enjoys spending time with family, and is a voracious reader. Courtney has also been well-recognized for volunteer work with being a 1996 Atlanta Olympic Volunteer, and for volunteering with Nevada Legal Services, and Legal Aid of Southern Nevada, among other various charities.
