Attorney Dennis E. Block founded his Turnersville law firm in 2001 to provide New Jersey and Pennsylvania residents with criminal defense, personal injury and workers compensation representation. He has extensive litigation experience in all aspects of civil, workers’ compensation, personal injury, automobile, slip and falls, traffic DWI, and criminal law. He works closely with clients and follows each case personally from intake through final disposition at trial, settlement and/or plea bargain.
Prior to founding his own practice, he served as defense counsel and plaintiffs’ counsel in negligence, workers compensation, family and commercial litigation cases. He also has experience as defense counsel in criminal matters.
Throughout his career as an attorney, which spans more than 30 years, he has gained significant writing experience, including drafting pleadings and motions for summary judgment, motions to compel, motions for sanctions, motions to suppress and motions to dismiss as well as extensive trial experience. This includes extensive work in appellate courts. As a result, he is prepared to assist clients in filing appeals, when necessary.
His extensive oral advocacy and courtroom experience includes arguing successful motions in criminal, family (divorce actions) and civil trials, pretrial matters as well as leading negotiations in mediations, pretrial conferences, arbitrations, plea bargaining and settlement conferences.
Finally, he has past pro bono work includes prosecuting uninsured workers’ compensation cases, termination of parental rights, criminal pro bono assignments and municipal court matters.
