Personal Injury Attorney William Pemberton moved to Wisconsin with his family while attending high school. He, along with his wife and three boys, now reside in the Baraboo area. For his undergraduate education, Attorney Pemberton attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and then obtained his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School. It was during his time at Marquette that Attorney Pemberton realized he wanted to focus his career on litigation. He gained invaluable experience while working for a prominent Milwaukee personal injury firm. After law school Attorney Pemberton sharpened his skills with a firm specializing in civil defense work.
Passion for Law and Small Communities
In 2005 Attorney Pemberton and his wife, Angela, moved to Baraboo to be closer to their respective families and become part of a small community they could actively participate in. While working with a local attorney, Attorney Pemberton was exposed to a wide variety of legal issues, including family law and personal injury law. He immediately discovered his passion for helping people with difficult legal issues. Since then, Attorney Pemberton has made personal injury law and accident litigation a significant part of his legal practice.
Focusing the Practice on Personal Injury Law
In 2006 Attorney Pemberton decided it was time to start his own firm, Pemberton Law Offices. This decision was predicated on his desire to focus his practice in injury and accident law. After being a successful sole practitioner for 4 years, Attorney Pemberton and long-time friend, Jay Englund, formed a partnership, Pemberton and Englund Law Offices, LLC.
Attorney William Pemberton has been awarded the distinction of being one of the very few Wisconsin Personal Injury Super Lawyers for 2017, after also being selected in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Attorney Pemberton had previously been selected twice as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, in 2012 and 2013. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Attorney Will Pemberton has secured a substantial record of successful settlements, awards, and verdicts in injury and accident cases, including a jury verdict in 2012 exceeding a half-million dollars that was one of Wisconsin’s largest verdicts ever in a personal injury case not involving broken bones.
The Personal Side
In his free time Attorney Pemberton enjoys spending time with his wife Angela and their three boys. When not at home, he can be found outdoors fishing, hunting or on the golf-course.
