Growing up in rural Tennessee in a working class family taught me a few things about hard work and perseverance. I understand the struggles that people face when working to support themselves and their families.
I worked my way through school at the University of Tennessee earning an Honor’s History Degree. After which, I moved to Florida for work and after a couple of years of saving, started at Florida A & M University College of Law. While working on my degree, I volunteered at the local Legal Aid Society and earned a Law Student of Excellence award for my Pro Bono representation of the economically disadvantaged.
In the summer before my third and final year of law school, a dear family member was critically injured in a car collision. So, I rushed to Tennessee to support my family. I enrolled and finished my law degree at the University of Tennessee. After which, I prepared to move to Colorado, where my husband and I had intended to ultimately make our permanent home.
After settling in here, I began representing injured victims and immediately all of the pieces of my life and education came together. I understood immediately that people need great lawyers to help them resolve these matters, so they are not furthered injured and victimized by insurance companies. I am proud to have served hundreds of injury victims in Colorado over the years. I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional legal advice and care to my clients for many years to come.
Areas of Practice
Automobile Injury
Though a collision happens in a matter of moments, the injuries can continue for a lifetime. While the hope is that the injured person heals completely, without fearless representation, an injured person could be left without the resources to take care of ongoing needs. I am proud to fight for my clients and make sure that they have what they need for their individual recovery needs. This area of law is far more complicated than many recognize, and I am proud to use my wealth of knowledge to put my clients in the very best position.
Premise Liability and Animal Attacks
Premise Liability injuries and Animal Attacks are often the most damaging personal injuries. A fall or another injury on the property of another, can have devastating effects on its victim. Many are left with scarring, deformity, and extreme disability. These cases are extremely complex, so if you or someone you love is injured in such an unfortunate circumstance, you need an attorney who has the expertise to handle your case. Not all attorneys understand this area of law. I am proud that I regularly use my expertise in these types of cases to force insurance companies to take these claims seriously and provide compensation for victims.
