Ms. Zeigler attended law school at West Virginia University from 2005 until 2008. During her time at the College of Law, she was active in the Public Interest Advocates. Ms. Zeigler obtained magistrate court mediator training. She also interned with the 15th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Office, continuing her public interest work.
Ms. Zeigler was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in October of 2009. She gained trial experience in her position as a public defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Charleston, West Virginia. Appearing daily in magistrate and circuit court on behalf of both adult and juvenile clients, Ms. Zeigler was afforded the opportunity to hone her litigation skills.
In June of 2012, Ms. Zeigler returned to North Central West Virginia. She began working for Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC, in July of 2012. Ms. Zeigler primarily works in the fields of criminal, personal injury, and medical malpractice law. Ms. Zeigler and her husband live in the Clarksburg area.
