Tye Masters graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2013 with dual degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, Politics, and Law, plus a minor in Business Law. He returned home to Las Vegas and earned his J.D. from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law in 2017 as a Dean’s Merit Scholar.
After passing the Nevada Bar on his first attempt, Tye served as in-house counsel for University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. There, he handled complex regulatory issues involving Medicare/Medicaid, billing, accreditation, and healthcare provider standards, while actively litigating medical malpractice, premises liability, credentialing, and patient billing disputes.
Tye joined Benson & Bingham in 2025, bringing unique insight from the defense side that helps him maximize recoveries for his personal injury clients. He primarily focuses on motor vehicle (MVA), trucking, and motorcycle accidents; premise liability; product liability; and medical malpractice.
Raised on Air Force bases in Germany, Texas, and Arkansas before settling in Southern Nevada in 2001, Tye proudly calls Las Vegas home. Outside the courtroom, you’ll find him cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights and USC Trojans, golfing, or walking his two dogs.
